Masters Message - October 2026

As we approach the end of this Masonic year, looking back at our events, there were many that were great and, to be fair, some that were not so great. But regardless of the outcomes, I would like to thank the Lodge Brothers who at the end all came together with a positive note. But, the great events surpass the no so great ones, those I will treasure them and their memories. Many thanks to each and every Brother for a great year.

Brothers, our Craft is one of the oldest continuing institutions in the world. It is composed of good men from all sorts of social settings pre-conditioned by society’s influences – good and bad. Masonry takes good men and makes them better. The sentiment is good yet sometimes the reality contradicts the sentiment. Without much thinking, let us work collectively in unison for a better future.

All men are created equal, as it is written in the preamble of one of the most brilliant documents in world history: the Declaration of Independence. Yet, we are all different in our upbringings, education and our civil duties. Even in appearance, we are different (a condition created by a geographical accident). We arrive at the doorstep of Masonry equally”... as many men before”, by summiting a petition. We all cross the threshold of the inner door one step at the time; and we meet at the level as Masonic Brothers in harmony.

Any behavior that creates disharmony and chaos is not acceptable. We cannot allow it. The By-Laws, General Regulations, Rules and Regulations, and Edicts are in place for the purpose of creating strength and harmony in the Craft. Harmony creates brotherly love among men and, most of all, human decency where good manners and good upbringing permeate. Our is a society of righteous men, good men, men dedicated to their families, society and country.

As such, the Fraternity brings together the best, good men of principles and good character, who do the best for the Craft and our social setting. Amen!

Once again, thanks for a great year!

Respectfully,

Miguel Arroyo Colon, WM
